Today I got to take in my first (It won't be my last) Arizona Fall League game! It was the Peoria Saguaros against the Scottsdale Scorpions.
It was a great experience, there was about 250 people in attendance so I was able to get a seat right next to the Saguaros dugout. I got to spend the whole time talking to a scout who has been in the business for over 30 years. It was the most enjoyable time I have ever had at a game.
The game was very good game, the Saguaros won it in the bottom of the 8th on a Chris Parmelee 2 run triple. For the Day Parmelee was 2-4 with 4 Rbi, both of is hits where to the opposite field. The Anthony Carter of the White Sox came in to shut the door. Being a Twins fan I am not liking Carter being in a Sox uniform, the Kid know how to pitch and he had Scottsdale on there heals.
Some notes from the game
Ben Revere 1-4 in the game
Joe Benson got in as a pitch runner.
Kyle Waldrop pitched 2 innings and looked shakey. He had a balk in his 2nd inning of work.
Parmelle stood out today for the Saguaros but the guy who impressed me most was Jordan Pacheco(Padres) SS the Kid has great range and arm but he can put some lumber on the ball.
More to come later please feel free to leave me some comments. I am new at this so please be kind
